What Restaurants Actually Pay for Influencer Marketing in Thailand
Ask five agencies what a restaurant influencer post costs in Thailand, and you'll get five different answers — usually a vague range with no real explanation. The real driver is follower count, not the vague range agencies quote, and a nano/micro-focused alternative prices it very differently.
Phase 1 note
Creator compensation today is in-kind only — the visit itself, not cash on top. More on what that means below.

Why quoted rates swing so wildly
Most Bangkok influencer-marketing quotes land somewhere between ฿1,500 and ฿5,000 per post, but that range hides the real variable: follower count. Agencies built around macro influencers and celebrities price by reach, so one post from an account with 200K followers can cost tens of thousands of baht. That price has almost nothing to do with whether the audience lives near the restaurant, or would ever visit.
For a restaurant, reach is the wrong thing to pay for. A diner three provinces away who likes a photo isn't a customer. What matters is a local, credible audience that could plausibly walk in, which is exactly the nano/micro segment that agencies built for macro reach tend to skip.
What a nano/micro-focused platform costs instead
Phase 1 note: compensation is in-kind only, not cash — see the note above.
Sendao is built specifically for nano and micro creators (roughly 1,000 to 50,000 followers) on Instagram and TikTok, not celebrity reach. Instead of negotiating each post one by one, restaurants pay for a monthly matching package that scales with how many creators they want sourced per month.
That works out to roughly ฿600 per creator matched, under a third of even the low end of typical per-post agency quotes. The difference is what you're paying for: a platform fee for structured matching and visit verification, not a bidding war over follower counts.
- Starter — ฿3,000/month, sources 5 creators
- Standard — ฿6,000/month, sources 10 creators
- Premium — ฿12,000/month, sources 20 creators
What that price includes — and what it does not (yet)
The package fee covers campaign creation, creator matching (open applications or direct invites), and QR-verified visit confirmation for every creator who comes in — so you're never paying blind for a post that may or may not have happened. Reviews go both ways and stay hidden until both sides submit theirs, which keeps the feedback honest on both ends.
Creator compensation today is in-kind only (the meal or service they receive during the visit), not a cash fee on top of the package price. Cash payouts and an escrow system (money held safely until both sides confirm the visit went as agreed) are planned for a later phase, not something to budget for yet.
Frequently asked
It's the effective cost per creator matched — the monthly package price divided by how many creators it sources. There's no extra per-post fee. Creator compensation is the in-kind visit itself (Phase 1), not a cash payment on top.
Because their pricing is reach-based (follower count), which varies continuously from creator to creator. A monthly package priced by creator count instead of follower count is what makes a clean number like ฿600 possible.
