How it works
How Sendao's QR Check-In Verifies Every Restaurant Visit
The weakest point in most restaurant-influencer arrangements is proof: did the visit actually happen, and did it happen the way both sides agreed? Sendao closes that gap with one QR scan at check-in.

What gets scanned, and when
Once a creator is accepted into a campaign and a visit is arranged, they get a one-time QR code for that specific visit. At the restaurant, staff scan it to confirm check-in. The code expires right after and can't be reused, so it can only ever confirm one real visit — it can't be shared, reused, or shown again after the fact.
The scan is what starts the confirmed-visit record — not a claim from either side, and not a screenshot.
What it protects on each side
For restaurants, it means the in-kind compensation only gets logged against a creator who was verifiably there — no more guessing whether someone who claimed a slot really walked in. For creators, it means their visit history and creator score rest on a real, timestamped record, not just a restaurant's word if there's ever a disagreement.
Visit confirmation also feeds into the two-way review. After the visit, both sides rate each other, and those reviews stay hidden until both have submitted — so neither side can peek at the other's rating first and adjust their own.
What QR check-in does not cover
The QR scan verifies that the visit happened, not that a creator's follower count or engagement is authentic. Those numbers come from the creator's connected Instagram or TikTok account periodically, and account ownership itself is trust-based today, not independently verified. Visit verification and account verification are two different problems — QR check-in solves the first one.
